\u00a0 \u00a0 Oppo Electronics launched its new mobile handset at a globally event in Singapore. The new phones that are launched and coming to market are Oppo N3 and R5. Oppo N3 is latest \u00a0N series mobile phone featured with an automated and motorized swivel camera while Oppo R5 is the slimmest smartphone with a thickness of 4.85mm looking similar to iPhone 6. R5 is much thinner than the\u00a0Gionee Elife S5.1 that recently won the Guinness book of world record of being the thinnest mobile phone. Oppo R5 is so thin that it lacks the 3.5mm\u00a0audio port and hearing with headsets will call for a need of wireless bluetooth headset besides due to thin nature the 13 mega pixel camera bulges out from the upper left corner. Now good thing is that this bulged camera will not suffer scratches as reported by\u00a0the designers unless some hard force is applied. Moreover with R5 you will feel the premium touch and hold of a Apple iPhone 6 besides it is less slippery than iPhone 6 too and has passed several stress test on bending cases and only a considerable amount of force could only bend it. Oppo N3 with swivel camera and Color OS features are presently costing around $649 and the slim Oppo R5 at $499.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0Oppo N3 has 5.5 inch capacitive screen of 1920×1080 full HD display and a gorilla glass 3 protection. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon\u00a0801 Quad-core CPU with 32G ROM, 2G RAM and has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB using micro SD card. N3 is characterized by a 201 degree rotating motorized swivel camera of 16 mega pixel and can take images up to 64 Megapixel clarity with auto free -stop and multi-angle shooting mechanism. N3 also has fingerprint sensor for phone access and creating guest access accounts and also includes a new O-Click remote to rotate camera and play music while away from the phone. The VOOC charging a new rapid mini charging system from Oppo allows the phone to get charged up to 75% in 30 minutes and with 5 minutes charging you can make a 2 hour call.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

R5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU and as stated earlier \u00a0has a thin body of 4.85mm due to which audio port for headsets are not available. The surface of R5 is surrounded by a metallic frame which Oppo’s designers as named\u00a0it as macro arc. Oppo has slim body like iPhone 6 but it has\u00a0a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The PI 2.0 flash shot technology allows the picture clarity of up to 50 Megapixel grade. The device has ColorOS 2.0 on the top of Android 4.4 with improved UI features and bottom screen swipe to have clear navigation experience. The phone is provided with 2G RAM and 16GB internal memory with no capability to add external storage like iPhone 6. \u00a0 \u00a0Oppo Electronics Corp. Dongguan, Guangdong, China based electronics manufacturer of N3 and R5 smartphones has started investing in major cities and regions and\u00a0about 20 major cities have already been targeted for\u00a0retailing with multi brand chains. Company \u00a0also plans to have its own showrooms and exclusive stores and would like to open nearly 4000 retail points and \u00a0200 service centers\u00a0in about one year.\u00a0“Our opportunity is to continue delivering incredible quality with products covering a range of prices,” said the Oppo’s CEO Tom Lu. The reports also says that company is not likely to compete\u00a0on price so the phone will be keep its price range but will concentrate on\u00a0top of the line product quality and support\u00a0services. Sure with Apple iPhone 6 bend and slippery issues Oppo R5 could definitely make its features stand out in the market with price nearly half of iPhone 6.
